The hammer bar dump is a simple, economical cleanout gate for use on mud tanks or water tanks. The nominal opening is 12" x 18", requiring a cutout 13 3/4" x 19 1/2" with 2" radius in corners for installation. A readily replaceable and obtainable B-60 V-belt is utilized for the seal. The tapered lugs and hammer points ensure that a good seal can be achieved. This style of cleanout is preferred by rig personnel over bolted styles because of simplicity of operation and assurance that good sealing can be obtained
