Tri-Flo 142/152 Centrifuges
Working Principle:
The continuous separation takes place in the rotating horizontal bowl which contains a double
decanter system. From the center feed tube the slurry is slowly fed into the patented
inner decanter where the initial separation and thickening of the mud takes place.
Thickened mud is then passed to the outer decanter where liquid and solids are separated,
and dried solids are scrolled out through the solids outlet. The inner scroll provides a
gentle acceleration of the incoming slurry to the full rotational speed without disturbing
the sedimentation process in the main part of the decanter.
