PRESSURE CONTROL

Tri-Flo Mud Gas Separator Tri-Flo Mud Gas Separator

DESCRIPTION:
The Tri-Flo Mud Gas Separator is a skid-mounted, self-contained unit, designed to separate and vent trip gas and heavily gas cut mud. Designed specifically for high pressure wells, the unit controls gas circulated to the surface by separating free gas from the mud and venting or flaring away from well site. The Tri-Flo Mud Gas Separator can efficiently handle 1000 GPM of mud with up to 1400 Cu.Ft/Min of gas.

Tri-Flo H2S Mud Vacuum
Recovery (MVR) System

Tri-Flo Mud Gas Separator

The Tri-Flo H2S Mud Vacuum Recovery System is a modern Mud/Gas Separator and DeGasser. The MVR System receives mud and gas from the choke line, degasses it, then sends the gas to the flare line and mud to the circulating system. This is accomplished as a closed system without ever exposing gas-laden mud to the atmosphere.

The MVR System is particularly suited to conditions where hydrogen sulfide may be present or where it is particularly advantageous to prevent any gas from being released in the drilling area.

The MVR System consists of two skids and related piping. The separator tank is a 12' x 4' mild steel tank vertically mounted in a protective skid package 8' x 8' x 14'. The tank contains a mud helix, control valves, and parts necessary to contain the mud and gas. The tank is designed as a vacuum vessel with vacuum not to exceed a minus 5 psi and pressure never to exceed 35 psi.

The normal operation range of the MVR System is from "0" to "1000" gallons per minute (GPM) of mud in combination with "0" to "1400" cubic feet per minute
